Care Package Wish List

Hi! So now that I've been here at my site for over a month, I've got a lovely list of requests for packages. Obviously letters are my favorite so do not feel the need to add anything, but in case you want to try to send a package they seem to arrive here safely with no issues at customs.  So whatever is cheapest to send (box, envelope) will work and just remember not to declare anything expensive or valuable on the customs sheet you fill out.  Here's the new address and my wish list:

Wish List

  • Protein Bars (Mojo Cliff Bars, Luna Bars, etc)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Wet wipes
  • Kleenex packs
  • Candy!!
  • Spices (any and all types)
  • Playing cards, UNO, puzzles or small games for the kids
  • crayons, markers, colored pencils
  • stickers (small ones for teaching purposes, like stars etc)
  • wine opener!! cant believe i forgot one!
  • body wash- they have soap bars here but kind of suck
  • AAA batteries
  • Anything from TJs or World Market food items (my friend had a package sent with many items in jars and what not stuffed inside cardboard tubes that made it here safely)
    • cheese, salsa, hot sauce, whole wheat flour, wheat pasta, brown rice, pasta sauce, mixes, olive oil, balsamic, parm cheese powder, canned tuna/chicken, salami/dried meat, coffee, tea, etc. 
  • Magazines: Yoga, Runners, People, Time, National Geographic, ones with pics of CA or America to share, etc
  • American History/Teaching aide stuff to share with everyone- they really dont have any idea about our food, the diversity of people, etc
  • measuring spoons
  • vitamins (especially with iron in them), vitamin c tablets, echinacea pills- not sure how that's spelled but good for the immune system 
  • tooth paste, floss, tooth brushes
  • Tea (yogi, green, irish breakfast from tj, any and all types)
  • Nail polish
  • Protein or soy powder/mixes
  • Trail Mix and nuts! 
  • Dried fruit- peaches, berries, nectarines, etc
  • lintels, black beans
  • St. Ives face wash
  • wall putty or something that will stick pictures and things onto concrete walls (no paint)
  • stationary to write you all with!
  • tape
  • glue sticks
  • q-tips
  • cheap shampoo (herbal essence or whatever)
  • plain white/colored cotton tee shirts
